Pan-Blue coalition

The Pan-Blue coalition, (Chinese: 泛藍聯盟; Pinyin: Fàn lán liánméng) also called the Pan-Blue camp is a political term referring to a loosely defined group of people who support increased cooperation Mainland China and wish to be reunified with it at some point in the future. Its name comes from the primary colour of the KMT, the largest party of the coalition.

The group itself forms a spectrum. On one end are the more pragmatic Light-Blues, who seek to avoid reunification in the foreseeable future, but see it as a desirable goal after China has also developed and democratised. On the other are the Deep-Blues, who would like to see deeper economic and political ties between Taiwan and Mainland China, potentially even immediate reunification.

Prominent parties of the informal coalition include the Kuomintang, the People First Party and the New Party.
