Clinton's Three Nos

The Three Nos were a set of three arrangements Bill Clinton (born 1946) outlined during his visit to China in June 1998. The three arrangements are:

  • "two Chinas"
  • "one China, one Taiwan"
  • "independent Taiwan"

The statement was not accompanied by tangible shift in policy to reflect it.
