Chen's Five Nos
The Five Nos were a set of five principles Chen Shui-bian swore to adhere to in his inaugural speach. These included:
- No declaration of independence,
- No change to the ROC's official name,
- No referendum on the political status of Taiwan,
- No reference to "state-to-state relations" in the Constitution.
- No abolition of the National Unification Council.
