Amendments for the Period of Mobilisation of the Suppression of Communist Rebellion

The Amendments for the Period of Mobilisation of the Suppression of Communist Rebellion (Chinese: 動員戡亂時期臨時條款; Pinyin: Dòngyuán kānluàn shíqí línshí tiáokuǎn) were a set of provisional amendments enacted in May 1948 that granted the president nearly unchecked power, used by President Chiang Kai-shek as a basis to institute martial law.

It was abolished by President Lee Teng-hui early in his term.
